Security department includes the physical security coverage for the hotel and the staff accommodation areas. They are responsible of all movements of material and personnel in the hotel. They manage security according to the standard and government norms

Security manager is the point of contact for any security related information/issues. They are responsible for security at all posts, valet and all hotel transport vehicles. They maintain a good channel of communication and support across all departments and are responsible for effective management of all aspects of Physical as well as data security.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Manage daily briefings for the team

- Design and define processes for security operations

- Handling entire shift operations for the security team

- Overseeing implementation of security systems at all levels in the organization and monitoring incidents and taking corrective actions for continuous improvements.

- Enforcing disciplinary standards and taking necessary & preventive measures for minimizing violations of rules and regulations at the organization.

- Executions of safety work permit system.

- Taking lead and organizing and participating Fire Mock Drills, Terrorist Threat and Bomb threat drills.

- Handling Staff transport facility

- Liaising with Hospitals for emergency Staff / Guest emergencies

- Monitoring of In / Out material, duly authorized by appropriate signatory and proper documentation and maintaining track records.

- Investigations and Incident reporting - Incidents involving Fraud, Integrity, process violation / deviation & physical security related.

- Processing manpower & transport vendor bills as per contracts and adherence to statutory compliance.

- To operate, check and monitor the CCTV system.

- To assist guests or front office by solving problems related to room safes and key card system

- To review the water and diesel level

- Manage the vendor compliance

- Schedule and carryout Fire Mock Drills, Terrorist Threat and Bomb threat drills.

- Coordination with external Security Agency pertaining to selection, deployment, training and grooming of security staff to ensure their maximum utilization.

- Training the associates on numerous aspects such as first aid, safety, firefighting, emergency drills and imparting knowledge about the latest surveillance gadgets.
