Designation : Section Head - IFRS

Experience : 6 - 8 yrs Experience for Statutory Audit & IFRS convergence with diversified groups from any of the Big 4's would be preferred.

Job Description:

- Taking care of IFRS implementation and sustainable public reporting under IFRS regime. Major responsibilities include the following:

- Keeping track of IFRS pronouncements and introducing the changes into the financial reporting system of the Company.

- Training and educating finance personnel in the Company on the topic related to IFRS.

- Implementation of IFRS requirements in the key areas such as Property, plant and Equipment accounting, Lease accounting, Investment accounting, Hedges and derivative accounting, accounting for employee benefits etc.

- Preparation and presentation of Consolidated IFRS financial statements of the Company.

- Coordination with other departments (corporate legal, treasury, business finance etc.) for getting sufficient inputs for public reporting under IFRS regime.

- To facilitate system development and implementation for IFRS reporting in the Company.

- Coordination with IFRS consultants and valuation experts (American Appraisal) for IFRS implementation purpose.

- Ensuring documentation for IFRS changeover in the Company. Hence maintaining audit trail.

- Preparation of the special purpose analysis and reports required by CFO of the Company.
