About the role - SEO Specialist Key responsibilities would involve a mix of the following: - Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the brand. - Assisting the content team in the creation of high quality, informative SEO content. - Conduct competitive analysis to uncover organic opportunities - Perform keyword research to optimise existing content, identify target keywords and find new opportunities to increase traffic - Work closely with the development and marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented. - Research and analyze competitor links. - Develop and execute strategy to acquire backlinks that will positively impact organic search visibility - Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies. Must-have mindsets and skillsets: - 2-3 years of extensive experience in SEO. - Solid understanding of link-building and off-page SEO activities. Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms - Understanding of SEO Tools - Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics. - Should have a basic understanding of HTML, Meta tags, redirections, deep links, sitemaps, etc. - Understanding about different types of keywords (Brand, Competitor, Transactional, Informational) and Off-page techniques including PR link building. - Ability to work within a team and independently. - Ability to drive results in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment. - A keen sense of ownership, speedy execution, and resourcefulness. - Thrives in a team environment and strong willingness to learn and adapt. - Passion for data, metrics and quantitative/qualitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable marketing plans.
