Job Title: Asso. Director - Marketing

What are we looking for?

Marketers either have:

- Experience managing people, or

- Hands-on experience leading & managing campaigns

- We don't really want to hire either of these people (at least not as our next Asso. Director of Marketing - they might make great candidates for a different role).

- What we want is to hire someone who has tons of experience doing both; someone with the charisma, people skills and confidence to manage a team as a leader and a coach, and the practical knowledge to help create, contribute to, and oversee the actual campaigns.

- T-shaped skill set: To take it further, in an ideal world, we are not just looking for someone with experience managing projects and people. We are also looking for a T-shaped marketer - someone with a diverse skill set that spans all disciplines relevant to "Searce", alongside a deep knowledge of one key area.

- Natural creativity: The best marketers are creative visionaries, people who are capable of stepping back, seeing the big picture, and coming up with new ways of approaching challenges and making positive changes to how the company is managed and marketed.

- Not a CAVEr: You are a person that people like to be around. You are not a CAVE (Constantly Against Virtually Everything) personality.

- Say no to HiPPO: At Searce, we want people who value everyone's opinions & perspectives. We don't want them to get overpowered by HiPPO (Highest Paid Person's Opinion).

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop and lead the company's overall marketing strategy for assigned regions and direct the execution of various marketing activities for your vertical

- Control the Marketing budget for assigned regions as well as conduct forecasts

- Be the point of contact for all Marketing and Branding topics

- Drive our digital marketing positioning (localization of Website, SEO, SEM, Digital campaigns)

- Increase brand awareness

- Conduct market research and personas to make better decisions on the respective region strategies

- Execute online and offline marketing campaigns customized to fill and grow the lead pipeline with high-quality leads

- Manage & Grow strategic partnerships with OEMs

- Strategize & create a process for execution of Account-based marketing campaigns

- Plan, organize and execute various marketing events such as prospect and customer events, conferences, exhibitions

- Produce high-quality content for our customers such as market surveys, Webinars, Whitepaper, Case Studies, Blog, Videos, etc.

- Measure the performance of all activities and campaigns, assess them against goals (ROI, Key Performance Indicators) and adjust strategy & activities to achieve them

- Provide ongoing reporting, develop actionable insights, test and learn approach to new initiatives

Qualification :

- Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and prefer an MBA or Masters in Marketing.

- Or else, did you leverage marketing to help your friend's business scale up while in High School. For us, the latter is better as it shows you have a marketing mindset. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. :)

- 10-15 years of progressively more responsible positions in B2B and Account-based marketing, preferably in a similar industry.

- Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication, website development, market research, product packaging, Microsoft software suite of products, visual communication software products, and creative services.

- Experienced in advising product teams about potential markets, desirable product features, go-to-market best practices, and measuring the success of outreach and product sales.

- Experience in the global marketplace is a plus. Managing global marketing teams is a plus.

- Expertise in Google Analytics.

- In-depth understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices.

- Experience with PPC campaigns.

- Successful experience working in a hands-on, fast-paced, creative entrepreneurial environment in a cross-functional capacity.

- Hands-on experience working with marketing tools and systems would be a plus (HubSpot, Salesforce). Experience with Microsoft PowerBI would be a major plus.
