Microsoft SharePoint ASPNET Technical Project Manager

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Position Purpose:

Overall Responsibility in delivering quality projects as per the requirement within the specified timeline agreed with client. Must have technical hands-on mentioned in Roles & Responsibilities section. Should be able to lead/handle a team to write and test code effectively and must work with business owners. Must aware of Project Management's key Processes & Knowledge areas. May participate in the design and or testing phases. Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress and provide corrective supervision if necessary. Work cross-functionally across teams to solve problems and implement changes. Follow defined, agreed upon project management plans.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Must have worked in projects based on Microsoft Technologies such as C#, .Net, MVC, SQL Server and related MS technologies

- Additional advantage if worked in MS product such as SharePoint/ O365 OR Dynamics 365 - Must write BRDs/FRS/FSD based on the inputs from business owners/clients

- Must know Agile software development methodologies

- Must coach and mentor team members and provide all relevant technical help & project documentation when needed.

- Must have Design thinking approach

- Ensure teams perform at optimum levels at all times.

- Take initiative for improvements of projects, processes and systems; participate in code reviews; identify business risks; escalate issues when necessary

- Excellent client handling capabilities using best practices of Project Management methodologies

- Responsible for making the technical decisions and suggesting sound business decisions on all projects wherever required

- Must know all the Project knowledge areas & Process and implemented in his/her projects. - Able to complete projects in designated budget.

- Ensure that projects follow the project plan and is accountable for timely delivery of all projects

- Should have fair experience of writing technical proposals assisting in Pre-sales such as proposal, providing technical demo/presentation etc.

- Responsible for identifying the areas and resources within the team that need training which will enable the team to function better.

- Responsible for conducting knowledge sharing meetings.

- Conduct monthly individual meetings with team leads to receive and give feedback.

- To always align personal goals with department goals.

- Provide excellent technical and business-oriented consulting across all areas of the company projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

- A degree in engineering, computer science.

- 8 to 12 Years of overall experiences in IT- services in software development, project management or a related field.

- With last 3 years as Project Manager in a software services organization

- 5 to 6 years must have worked in Microsoft Technology Stack/Product in software development such as C#, .Net, MVC, SQL Server and other related technologies

- Highly knowledgeable and hands on software architecture and understand thoroughly latest MS technologies including usage of agile practices

- Exposure to 6-sigma, PMP, agile and scrum desired

- Preferred software Engineering background

- PMP or other Project Management certification will have added advantage.

- Excellent leadership abilities.

- Ability to problem-solve under pressure.

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
