Screen-Magic - Manager - Human Resources - IIM/XLRI/TISS/MDI/SCMHRD (8-12 yrs)

1. Development of employees to support business objectives.

2. Develop and maintain HR systems for retaining and motivating employees for improved employee performance.

3. Ensure good employee relations.

4. Organisational Development through systems and good management practices.

5. Ensure statutory compliances and liaison with relevant authorities.

Key Activities:

1. Development of employees to support business objectives.

a) Co - Develop and implement Talent Management plan for execution based on the business plan.

b) Monitor, review, control as per plan.

c) Prepare Talent Management budget and based on business objectives.

d) Identifies development needs through competency gap analysis and various other methods.

e) Organizes on the job and off the job training to reduce competency gap of the employees.

f) Evaluate training effectiveness and take appropriate actions.

g) MIS to Head HR, CTO and CEO.

2. Develop and maintain HR systems for retaining and motivating employees for improved employee performance.

a) Conducts induction to new employees to help them to effectively shoulder their responsibilities.

b) Ensure timely goals / KRAs setting.

c) Timely implement of Performance appraisal process and increments.

d) Identify low/non-performers through Managers and make a plan to improve their performance or recommend separation.

e) Exit analysis and initiating corrective actions.

f) Co- Design and Implement HR policy Manual.

g) Based on the relevant feedback of the employees initiates action to develop/modify the HR policies.

h) Ensure timely recognition to deserving employees.

i) Ensures correct and timely salary payment to the employees.

3. Ensure good employee relationship.

a) Sensing employee issues by formal and informal methods and taking appropriate actions.

b) Communication with Managers to resolve grievances of the employees and guide management proactively.

c) Hold regular monthly / skip level meetings.

d) Initiates appropriate actions based on feedback received in Birthday meetings, Management inductions, Staff meetings etc.

e) Organizes employee welfare activities like Cultural days, annual day, sports day and birthday celebrations.

4. Organisational Development through systems and good management practices.

a) Monitor and effective implementation of HRIS.

b) Liaise with external consultant for audits and implement the corrective actions.

c) Implement specific TM projects as per the business requirement.

5. Ensure statutory compliances and liaison with relevant authorities.

a) Ensures timely compliance under various labour laws.

b) Maintains liaisons with external various government authorities and represents the organization effectively.

6. Participation in Resource Acquisition

a. HR screening of all level of candidates in coordination with Head of HR

b. Checking Cultural Fit

c. Playing a critical assessor role and aligning with business objectives of short term & long term organization goals

Qualification :

1. MBA from Tier 1 Institute and Experience with Product Companies
