Job Description
- Contributing to the development and realization of the vision, mission and objectives of the School.
- Conceptualizing and continuously improving the school structure, academic, research and professional programs including their curriculum and teaching methods.
- Establishing partnerships with other Schools or field level institutions for collaboration in programs / curricula design, faculty, joint research, etc.
- Strategic planning including monitoring and reporting of industry trends, market demand and competitive scenarios impacting the School.
- Financial and budgetary planning and reporting.
- Faculty and staff recruitment, development and evaluation.
- Operational management, including effective management of admission requirements, enrolments, graduation rates, placement performance etc.
- Program marketing and student recruitment and retention.
- Obtaining and maintaining the requisite program accreditation and managing on-going program reviews and evaluations.
- Developing instructional and general policies and code of conduct for the School.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable policies, accreditation standards and legal requirements.
- Representing the school in all external interactions, building and maintaining relationships with local, state, national community, professional, industry and government constituents to ensure the creation of a favorable ecosystem for ensuring the schools success and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
(Academic and Administrative)
- To be responsible for all the work and teaching in the school.
- Responsible for all the work regarding the school admissions, examinations and results.
- Carry out the correspondence of the school.
- To prepare or to get prepared the class timetable of the school.
- To supply the information called for by the department urgently.
- To keep the record of the school systematically.
- To supervise the work of the teacher and non-teaching staff and co-ordinate their work.
- To prescribe text book as per the current requirements with consultation of the school committee.
- To conduct interviews and select the required staff when and where necessary.
- Attend center co-ordination duties for board examinations.
- Implement innovative methods to improve the name and fame of the school.
- To supervise accounts.
