Schneider Electric - Plant Finance Controller

As member of the finance team of PC2, will be responsible for Costing of the BEF Plants.

Product Costing :

- Monthly preparation of Cost sheets for all the product references

- Analyse the variances - cost element wise and compare with the project assumptions

- Evolution of the Key star product costing and highlight the change

MIS for Management review :

- Monthly management Financial Review- Highlight cost performance by product line with explanation of significant variances vs. Target

Transfer Pricing

- Work out the standard cost for all the product references produced in BEF on a quarterly basis and provide the detailed analysis

Cost Control

- Review the product costs with different operating team and target reduction on materials, labor and overheads

Business Plan / Forecast :

- Support the business planning exercise for the unit including volume projections, product wise cost estimates

- Monthly rolling forecast

New Product and CTO / ETO costing:

- Workout with the NPD / SC deployment teams for the new product costing and ETO (Engineer to Order ) model costing

Statutory / Internal and Cost Audits

- Support the above audits

Required skills & knowledge for the position:

- Strong Knowledge of costing principles

- Computer skills specifically with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

- Basic knowledge about the engineering industry

- Accounting Skills

- Oracle Software knowledge preferred

- Good Communication

Required Educational Background & Professional Experience

- Cost Accountant or Chartered Accountant

6-8 yrs experience.
