Roles & Responsibilities:
- As a Group Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality strategic campaigns that align with client objectives.
- You will guide your team and clients through research-driven insights, creative solutions, and measurable results.
- Strategic Leadership.
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Planners to develop innovative and data-driven strategies for clients.
- Oversee quarterly and annual brand planning to ensure strategies are aligned with clients' long-term goals.
- Drive integrated campaigns that encompass brand positioning, product launches, retention strategies, and market penetration.
- Client Servicing & Relationship Management.
- Manage relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring the seamless execution of brand strategies across all touchpoints.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities within existing clients, while maintaining high satisfaction levels and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure client strategies are continuously refined and optimized based on evolving business needs and market trends.
- Research, Insights & Competitive Analysis.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gain deep insights into consumer behavior, trends, and competitor strategies.
- Analyze data from campaigns, performance metrics, and market research to drive actionable insights and adjustments to brand strategies.
- Track industry and category trends to keep clients ahead of the competition with fresh and innovative ideas.
- Process & Efficiency Optimization.
- Establish and implement best practices, ensuring teams follow streamlined processes for KPI tracking, reporting, and project management.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources, optimizing manpower mapping and ensuring timely delivery of all strategic initiatives.
- Champion innovation within the planning function by exploring new tools, technologies, and processes to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Campaign Monitoring & Reporting.
- Oversee the monitoring and analysis of campaign results to ensure they meet KPIs and deliver strong business outcomes.
- Provide regular performance reports to clients and the internal leadership team, offering strategic recommendations for optimization.
- Team Development & Mentorship.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the planning team.
- Develop and conduct training sessions to enhance team members' strategic and creative skill sets.
- Maintain a Job Status Report (JSR) to track team activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals.
- 5-6 years of experience in brand strategy, account planning, or integrated marketing.
- Proven experience in strategic leadership, managing client accounts, and driving integrated campaigns.
