SBS Global - Technology Analyst/Expert - Taxation (6-9 yrs)
SBS global IT is looking for a hands-on expert on tax technologies to support inhouse applications and their integrations. You will work on client's tax engines (ONESOURCE). You will work with application owners, business analysts and support teams to ensure the assigned applications meets business requirements. This role is expected to work on transformational programs and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Business rule maintenance on the tax engines - for example transeditors on ONESOURCE, periodic content update on the servers, integrations with consuming systems
- Performance tuning of tax applications and the related integrations
- Project and operational requirements as necessary
- Understand upstream system requirements to provide the most reliable solutions on tax technologies
- Document business and IT solutions as they are made
- Perform system administration duties for all tax software. Additionally, ensure tax systems are compliant with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with new tax technologies and ensure the alignment of tax tools with the business strategy
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Must have - 6+ years of hands on experience in tax technologies, especially TR ONESOURCE
- Integration experience with SAP systems - SAP ECC/ SAP S/4 HANA / SAP Ariba is a big plus
- Working knowledge of tax statutory reporting tools - especially in EMEA and LATAM is desired, not necessary
- Solid background in developing solutions using a waterfall and agile methodologies, good background with managing project/team deliveries
- Self-motivated and an enthusiastic team player, with the ability to leverage internal and external resources to provide timely resolution to system issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at providing succinct updates to IT leadership
