As a Senior Consultant, you will be an anchor member of the Research Advisory team. In this role, you will design and lead large-scale research projects, build positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure client success, and conceptualize and create research products and data solutions as part of Sattva Research, to influence key institutions and stakeholders across the development sector. Key Accountabilities : At Sattva, we believe in outcome-orientation in everything we do. The key responsibilities for this role will be the following : - Drive end-to-end delivery management for medium to large-sized research and knowledge projects and own accountability of driving the project from scoping to design, execution and delivery excellence. - Take accountability to achieve successful outcomes for the client, project and impact social impact that is envisioned for the project. - Build capacity in the team on an ongoing basis for delivering high value research. - Lead client engagement through active relationship building and co-creating solutions in research with a deep understanding of client needs. Effectively manage the client asks and delivers the project in stipulated time frames. - Influence decision-making and action to enable positive and sustainable impact in the stakeholder ecosystem that are recipients of the research. - Conduct ongoing investigations into understanding key &amp; future-forward &amp; themes across sectors and practice areas and convert it into meaningful data and insights. - Contribute to developing tech-and data-based &amp; insights products &amp; for Sattva Knowledge. - Participate in building and strengthening internal systems and processes which contribute towards effective and efficient functioning of the knowledge centre. We are looking for exceptional individuals who are excited to lead research studies and create knowledge products, are able to generate insights which can influence strategic decision-making and action in the social sector, are exploring new challenges at the intersection of development research, strategy, and social impact and have the following profile : - 6-7 years of proven experience in leading research projects along with a postgraduate degree in public policy/ public health/ development studies or equivalent. - Experience in engaging clients and stakeholders in a research environment. - Prior experience of working in the development sector in global/Indian contexts and leading research projects. - Strong knowledge of the development landscape in India and around the world, including an in-depth understanding of the roles of various stakeholders (government, academia, international institutions, foundations, non-profit and corporate organizations). - Strong skill sets in designing and implementing research studies, data analysis and synthesis. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details. - Humility, willingness to listen, learn and adapt. - Willingness to travel.
