We at Satguru are hiring for Analyst-Revenue Optimization. Job Overview : This position requires out of the box thinking in managing additional revenue lines and adding revenue to the P&L. Entrepreneurial mindset is required where one can identify additional revenue through ancillary services, deposit schemes, card charges, etc. Discussing additional deals with the airlines. Negotiating additional revenues on ancillary services and on any other travel related service Responsibilities and Duties : This role requires business expertise where the responsibilities are: - Identifying areas of opportunities for revenue generation - Creating plans for each of the area identified with clear timelines and revenue opportunity - Executing the plans by putting the plan to action - Face to face meetings with Airlines, banks and or any other travel related business - Negotiating additional tactical deals, commissions with the airlines - Manage multi location ticketing - Build processes to sell airline ancillaries for incentive optimization and drive local branches - Manage Yield management team (System and Team) - Track GDS performance on revenues and optimize the same - Keep generating new ideas for additional revenue lines - Creating airline positioning and optimization workflows Qualifications : - Degree in Commerce or Tourism - 3-5years of relevant knowledge and work experience in a commercial and/or managerial job at an Air/Travel company - Great track record of generating new avenues for additional revenues - Proficiency in working with MS Suite of tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. - Experience in managing GDS revenue optimization drive - Experience in managing Yield management tools and processes - Experience in/with online/offline travel agent industry and GDSs - Company confidential; only for limited circulation - Highly effective individual that can work independently while managing multiple priorities - Knowledge of various ancillary and or travel related business would be a big plus - Excellent communication skills - Lean / Six Sigma knowledge would be preferred
