SAS Developer - MIS Reporting - BFS

Position: MIS Reporting

Experience: 3-6 Years

Location: Bangalore

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

- Understand ad-hoc business requirement emanating from region, regulators or local business units.

- Identify underline data requirement and Prepare Functional Specs.

- Build Solution Design and Develop the solution by using appropriate tool/technology including SAS, VBA, and MS Excel.

- Send sample data for UAT and complete the delivery post sign-off.

- Ability to understand the business, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project. Communication with business partners.

- The individual should possess the ability to work in teams and display a proactive learning attitude.

- We are looking for Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working in teams with high growth potential and involved in transitioning the highly complex and critical projects.

- A flexible, positive and mature mindset to deal with ambiguities of complex business problems is a must.

Relevant Experience:

- Good understanding of SQL, Microsoft office, SAS or any other programming language and ability to manage large data.

- 2-3 years of experience in MIS, System Development or in data analytics.

- 2-3 years of experience in SAS

- Good Communication Skills.

- Should have basic analytical background.

- Should have the ability to understand the reports and the graphs.

- Banking domain is an added Advantage

- Experience in Visual Basics is also an added advantage.

- Primary skill should be in MIS reporting and data extraction should be done using SAS, data reporting should be done through Excel

- Presentation of results: The individual would be expected to independently design presentations to summarize the result of MIS deep dive/analysis.

- Business Knowledge: develop an understanding of the domain/function.

- The individual is expected to develop domain expertise in his/her work area.

- Teamwork: Develop cross-site relationships to enhance leverage of ideas.

- Set and manage partner expectations.
