Job Overview:


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Corporate Head (GMC, GPA) to lead our General Insurance and Group Medical Cover portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering expert insurance advice, managing risk assessments, optimizing coverage solutions, and ensuring efficient claims handling. This role demands leadership, strategic thinking, and client relationship excellence.


Key Responsibilities (KRA):


- Lead the GMC (Group Medical Cover) and GPA (Group Personal Accident) insurance portfolio and operations.


- Analyze client risk profiles and provide suitable, cost-effective insurance solutions.


- Manage end-to-end client relationships and ensure consistent, high-quality servicing.


- Coordinate and ensure timely issuance, endorsement, and renewals of group insurance policies.


- Liaise with insurance companies for quotes, negotiations, underwriting, and approvals.


- Oversee and expedite claim management processes for group policies to ensure prompt settlements.


- Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and internal company protocols.


- Maintain up-to-date market intelligence on insurance products, trends, and pricing strategies.


- Develop and mentor a team of insurance professionals, ensuring productivity and performance excellence.


- Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management on portfolio performance and improvements.


Skillsets Required:


- In-depth knowledge of General Insurance products, especially Group Medical and Personal Accident policies.


- Proven experience in corporate broking, underwriting, and claims processing.


- Strong understanding of risk management and insurance analytics.


- Excellent client servicing, communication, and interpersonal skills.


- Strong negotiation and decision-making ability with insurers and clients.


- Leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.


- Analytical mindset with proficiency in handling data-driven reports and dashboards.


- Awareness of regulatory norms and compliance frameworks in the insurance sector.
