SAP Security Consultant

Description

- The position generally involves the application of specialist level SAP Security knowledge to solve a variety of common to moderately complex security issues for clients, within established guidelines. Work involves independently providing SAP Security delivery services as well as resolving security problems and leading projects of moderate complexity and scope.

- The position specifically involves providing a suite of SAP Identity and Access Management Services in support of industry standard and client specific security policies and standards, with a particular focus on SAP HCM, FI/CO, SRM, AP, OTC, AR, ECM Security. These include: Identity Provisioning and De-provisioning, Identity Maintenance, Role Creation, Role Maintenance, SAP Security Incident and Problem Management, Reporting and Audit Support, User Access Reviews, SAP Security Set-up and Configuration, and Password Management.

Core Competencies:

- Six years of experience in SAP application security (security certification preferred)

- 4+ years SAP Security Consulting experience

- Leads cross-functional teams

- Builds relationships with senior account and client leaders

- Directs project methodologies, tools and work instructions

- Directs Security Request, Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes

- Ensures compliance with established security policies and standards

- Has strong organization and follow-up skills

- Has strong communication skills

- Experience in 2 full (end to end) life cycle implementation projects

- SAP GRC experience

- Identity Management Experience

- Security Risk Assessment or Management experience

- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

- Compliance experience

- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the business

- Team player attitude

- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment

- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Experience with security design and configuration with the following:

- SAP HMC module

- NetWeaver 7.2 or applications, including Business Intelligence (BI) / Business Warehouse (BW), Enterprise Portal (EP), Master Data Management (MDM), and Process Integration (PI) / Exchange Infrastructure (XI);

SAP applications including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), ECC - FI/CO, AP, OTC, AR

- SAP data objects.

- Knowledge and understanding SAP administration and maintenance

- Prior systems audit, assurance, and/or ERP implementation experience

Strong background in the following:

- Controls re-engineering

- Segregation of duty concerns with respect to application security implementation

- Application security implementation

- Distributed system administration and recovery

- Database administration

- Security auditing techniques

- Computer control environments

- ERP control implementation in medium to large computer environments

- Operating systems

- Access control software – Approva

Qualifications

- BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems or equivalent work experience

- CISA, CISSP, and/or applicable package certification preferred
