SAP FICO Consultant

Objective :

- The role requires individuals to gather SAP FI/ CO related requirement from client, propose solutions, prepare blueprints before implementation, if needed share demos and then own and deliver the technical delivery by guiding a team of consultants.

Job Description :

- Implementing the SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI) or Controlling (SAP CO)

- Analyze the complex requirements of business processes, provide system solutions, along with identifying, validating, and interpreting customer requirements

- Map the processes (AS-IS and TO-BE), objectives, and requirements of clients and develop the required modifications in the product

- Designing, customizing, configuring, and testing modules of FICO, identifying issues and bringing out temporary, work-around solutions

- Documenting functional designs, various system test scenarios, test cases, and results

- Conceptualize and conduct UAT sessions, manage Cutover, parallel runs and Go-Lives

- Manage the communications with all stakeholder, status updates to senior managers, help in auditing the solutions, support in Hyper care period

- Identifying and proposing system enhancements in the organization

Educational Qualifications :

- Strong educational background from reputed engineering or MCA college having hands on Configuration experience of 6 to 10 years

Required Skills :

- Understanding of basic Finance concepts, reports, various processes done by corporate finance groups

- SAP FICO submodules in depth understanding and hands on experience: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Consolidation, Bank Accounting, Cost Center accounting, Internal orders, Cost elements, Profitability analysis etc.

- Ability to cope in a complex and fast-changing business environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation.

- Willing to Guide, mentor a team of junior consultants so that they will be able to manage implementation projects on their own
