PURPOSE OF ROLE -

- Develop and facilitate review of the Brand Plan for allocated products by defining the need of the customer, designing the marketing and creative inputs and facilitating the execution of the plan through the Sales team. To provide timely and pertinent inputs to the Sales team in order to maintain / improve health of the brand with the objective of achieving market share, sales and profits in line with specified objectives.

KEY RESULT AREAS :

1. People :

- Develop learning modules for the field force on marketing and promotional plan, conduct learning sessions, guide and develop rapport with the field staff in order to obtain the desired development of market share and sales.

- Participate in training programs associated with the Physician Partnership Program & other skill enhancement programs organized from time to time.

2. Financial :

- Periodically (Quarterly) plan and utilize Marketing budget by allocating resources for required products with the objective of maximizing return on marketing expenditure.

- Design creative marketing and promotional campaigns and cascade it to the desired customer by providing appropriate training to the sales force in order to maximize impact of marketing activities and return on investment.

3. Process :

- Prepare promotional and brand plan for allocated products by scanning external & internal environment and enable execution by planning, monitoring and reviewing product wise marketing initiatives.

- Create effective marketing program by identifying and analyzing requisite data, evaluating product needs, allocating resources and reviewing monthly sales forecasts in order to achieve the planned market share and sales and profit objectives.

- Coordinate with the designated Medical advisor, sales management (AM / RSM) & investigators to plan & review progress of clinical trials & post-marketing studies for the assigned products & therapeutic area

4. Customer :

- Organize seminars, symposia, congresses and CME programs with the help of field force and address symposia on latest trends in disease management in order to positively influence key doctors.

- Develop, sustain and leverage relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical & patient fraternity in order to create preference for Sanofi products for drug prescription.

- Undertake regular Field visits to understand implementation of marketing plans and obtain customer insight

ROLE - HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

Educational Qualification & Experience - Graduate in Science/Pharmacy.

- Post Graduate Degree in Management, with a specialization in Marketing is a must

- A total experience of 3-5 years in the Sales and Marketing Function of a large Pharmaceutical Organization.

Functional Knowledge Required - Product / Domain Knowledge

- Knowledge of the latest trends in Marketing

- Understanding of the domestic Pharmaceutical Industry.

- Field experience of up to 1-2 year would be preferable.
