Samsung - Senior Manager - Business Development - Online Vertical

This position is responsible for building new revenue streams for business. This person would study market evolution, identify new opportunities/ programs/ initiatives, drive execution of initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders, and analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities. This person would be the P&L owner for the new revenue streams thus created.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

- Study online consumer trends and asses competition offerings to identify unmet/ latent customer needs.

- Identify upcoming trends that hold future business potential.

- Asses synergies in adjacent/complimentary categories to provide a richer and seamless experience to the customer

- Identify new- revenue streams-, i.e. initiatives and partners to accelerate online sales growth for Samsung in India

- Lead development of sales strategy, planning and execution of new revenue stream projects

- Create business case for - new revenue stream projects-

- Navigate through the organization to drive internal alignments and approvals

- Incubate and drive new partners and initiatives

- Continuously work on optimization plans for existing and New initiatives

- Track progress of initiatives qualitatively and quantitatively

- Be watchful of the changing regulatory environment in e-com industry and opportunities that it might open up.
