PURPOSE OF POSITION :
To lead- Digital & Offline Media Buying/Procurement for Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd
JOB RESPONSIBILITY :
- The incumbent shall be responsible for leading all digital & traditional media buying and negotiations, for Samsung India, one of the largest Media spenders in India (Spend > USD 100Mn annually)
- Drive - Media Agency RFP , with internal stakeholders and external parties
- Assess and evaluate Media KPI's & Rate deliveries for each campaign basis strong domain knowledge of Media platforms - both digital & offline.
- Rate inflation control - Benchmarking & Tracking SIEL rates vs. agreed contract terms with the Media Agency.
- Evaluate Media properties relevant to Samsung for scale partnerships / opportunities basis strong Media & Tech innovation knowledge.
- Relevant experience to evaluate delivery and pricing for new Tools / Tech / Data services currently deployed/ To-be -deployed for SIEL in the area of brand safety / ad fraud / measurement & tracking.
- Liaoning with Internal & External parties to drive the Digital Media Procurement KPI's
- Maintaining Media MIS
- Rate Benchmarks/ Savings / Spends
- Deal management, maximizing performance of deals
- Control and management of Global Digital Media Deals
- Agency contract compliance & hygiene
KEY RESULT AREAS :
- Media Rate efficiency control & improvement Y-O-Y
- Knowledge to build and improve Media rate control trackers & MIS
- Strong Media Partner/ Publisher relations to positively influence SIEL Pricing & negotiation conversations
- Delivery of procurement KPI's with high transparency and compliance to company processes.
- Strong inter personal skills to navigate the Org structure & work in collaboration with internal/ external stakeholder
- Liaison with Samsung HQ teams on Global digital Media Deals & benefits
