Samsung - Manager - Logistics Planning

Scope: Logistics Distribution Planning

Operations :

- Management of Primary and Secondary Transportation benchmarking, devise and drive initiatives for Cost control

- Drive and Implement Logistics projects related to Warehouse expansion and Transportation improvements.

- Track Daily truck detention at Warehouses and coordinate with Warehouses for the reasons.

Purchase and Coordination

- Forecasting and Procuring Packing Related Products (Box, Stickers, Strapping Roll, Thermocol)

- Procurement orders to be managed in ERP and follow-up with Suppliers, SIEL Factories.

- Infra procurement for Warehouses as per need -Vendor Identification, Negotiation , Onboarding and procurement.

Other Activities:

- Transporter KPI monitoring and improvement plan.

- Tracking and updating daily Diesel Rate in ERP .

- Study the Impact of Fuel Change in transportation cost .

Skills:

- System Knowledge: SAP, proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PPt)

- Good Communication and Analytical skill

- Wh Operation, Transportation and Procurement

- Vendor Management and Negotiation Skills
