Samsung - Manager/Chief Manager - Parts Planning

Justification : Manage the Parts Outbound Planning, Warehouse management, Block stock management, Contracts, Transport Operations and North I & II regional coordinator.

Job Description Summary :

- Supply service parts within the lead time and minimize pending repair issues by supporting parts reserves to service centers.

- Maximizing the Parts Availability in PAN India warehouse for Achieving the High Order fulfillment / Shipping Ratios / Delivery Ratios, So to Minimize SVC repair TAT and High Customer Satisfaction.

- Optimize the Inventory at Service centers thru High Inventory Turns.

- Effectively handling Contract Management (Incoming Quality LAB).

- Single window from Parts operations to North India Partners and Other CS operation group [SOG, SVC Admin, Customer experience and other related functions].

- Managing the Communication / Coordination with PAN India warehouse PIC's, Regional Partners, HQ and transport Vendors.

Job Description:

- [Parts demands prediction] Improve a forecast system in order to predict parts which are needed when repairing a customer's product and order parts.

- [Parts supply management] Acquire and supply parts required for service within supply lead time. Manage to supply parts by managing back order, discontinued parts, and LTB (Last Buy).

- [Parts Sales return and recycling management] Manage to collect Sales return parts (Damage, Defective, wrong, etc.). Manage Block Stock and handover e-scrap to vendor

- [Supply channel optimization] Re-calibration of Stocks between warehouses & Partners, also mapping of partners based on location proximity to reduce supply lead time and distribution costs.

- [Parts distribution costs improvement] Manage to reduce distribution costs by optimizing road / train transportation route instead of air transportation, reducing packaging costs, and increasing productivity of a warehouse.

- Managing the SRN Defective parts quality check in IQC rooms

- Managing the Multimodal and Multi-Mode Transportation Including Air & Surface modes.

- Managing Logistics Providers for operations.

- Policies formation and amendments [Sales Return]

- Managing Block stock of PAN India warehouse (16 including NPC's)

- Person should have thorough knowledge of following areas.

- Demand planning & forecasting.

- Transport vendor handling.

- Basic knowledge of cost-accounting & has the understanding of SGA.

- Know-how of Competition benchmarking.

- Should have managed SVC, Vendors, & other domain.

- Knowledge of different functions of Customer satisfaction.

- Well versed with Analytics, MS Excel & Presentations.

- Basic warehousing experience.

- Additional certification in SCM, Quality & Project management will be an added advantage.

- Should have hand on experience in ERP, BI & other Business related software's.
