Samsung - Assistant Manager - Finance (3-9 yrs)

Responsibilities:

1. [Trade Incentive Management] Understand, Own and Manage different trade schemes, their reconciliation & final settlement in the market

2. [Budget Control] Tracking and management of expense within Budget. Identifying signs of Budget Spill-over and discussing with Biz teams on how to bring back the same on track.

3. [Channel pay-out reconciliation] Owing the end-to-end cycle for incentive and other payables to channel partners and ensuring monthly reconciliations.

4. [MIS & Management Reporting] Monthly management reporting and variance analysis related to work areas. Identifying upcoming changes trends and discussing the same with Biz and management

5. [Biz Analysis and Pricing] Variance Analysis at various stages (vs rolling plans/ last month/ last year). Identifying any early signs of changes in trends and warning signals in reporting. Support management in decisions related to New Product pricing and/ or altering an existing Market Operative Price.

6. [Accounts Reconciliation & Partner Management] Understand receivables related tasks like account master management, credit check, credit line and security management, receivable matching, etc.. Perform tasks according to processes.

Other Expectations:

- Good understanding of Finance workflows & processes; knowledge of relevant tax and other legal compliances related to work areas including GST and Income Tax.

- Proficient in MS Office - specially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

- Digital Savviness and eagerness to learn and implement new system and work-ways.

- Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors

- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

Key Metrics:

- Adherence to internal financial management norms

- Timely Settlement of Trade Schemes

- Timeliness and Accuracy of business reporting
