Associate Director - Strategic Initiatives

This role will report to the CEO and will be responsible for the following:

1. Consulting Practice :

a. Develop and drive the Consulting strategy of Samhita in India (primarily in Delhi & NCR region), meet and exceed targets in terms of amount of disbursements to the sector, number of long term Client commitments secured, etc. Also, provide inputs to the overall consulting strategy, and support the formulation of the Samhita strategy.

b. Drive thought leadership in the sector of strategic consulting, driving insights on CSR spends, and how that can lead to catalytic impact.

c. Develop and manage the operations of the implementation team, and be accountable for driving performance efficiency, tracking team expenditure and overall achievement of all deliverable

d. Oversee building of robust programs for each Client with support from other teams keeping in view their current needs, their long term vision and opportunities in the sector

e. Oversee and manage cross-team projects for Clients, ensuring its timely completion and delivery at a quality consistent with Samhita standards

f. Directly manage and execute corporate relationships and programs, continuously identifying new avenues to maintain and grow their CSR portfolios

g. Oversee the end-to-end Client engagement process including identification of partnership opportunities, being lead presenter at Client meetings, putting together detailed proposals and closing opportunities

2. Internal Capacity Building :

a. Build the capacity of direct reports and the wider Consulting Team to deliver high-quality work

b. Work with and lead network teams - pulling on resources from across the organization to be able to deliver a high quality and impactful journey to our Clients

c. Offer continual mentorship to the larger Consulting team and will be viewed as role model for the work products and overall leadership
