We work extensively with international and domestic donor agencies and foundations to facilitate multi-stakeholder platforms around critical social issues.   The opportunity   India is going through an inflection point in terms of Philanthropy and Corporate Social responsibility. The Company's Act 2013 mandates many profitable companies to have a clear CSR policy and a plan to implement the same. It is estimated that over 6,000 companies will need to invest approximately INR 20,000 crore in various CSR activities.   Key responsibilities  - Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale and meet annual target set   - Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities   - Create new sales opportunities and understand business requirements by leveraging multiple marketing channels and outreach mechanisms   - Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options   - Effectively demonstrate Samhita's values, benefits, products and services to partners and prospects (such as corporates, foundations, multilateral agencies etc)   - Build and maintain relationships with potential new customers and reinforce ones with existing clients   - Follow up and actively engage in requirement gathering to develop proposals for prospects   - Consult, advise and work closely with our marketing team, execution team and research team   - Ensure smooth sales handover to Project Managers and monitor quality of output to key accounts   - Maintain and measure records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, closed sales, and follow-up activities; proficiently report on monthly sales to management team   - Develop and maintain partnership with NGOs and Social Enterprises (SE) in key social sectors, geographies   - Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team  Qualification and Experience   Required   - 3 ~ 6 years+ of Account Management and Sales experience in consulting industry with proven track record   - Motivation, drive and a desire for sales and to achieve financial success   - Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer requirements into solutions   - Experience of developing and managing a diverse set of relationships   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills   - Flexible and adaptable yet highly organized   - Professional with a pragmatic approach, accountable and a closer   - Detail and methodical oriented style of teamwork   - Passion for technology and innovation   - Ready to travel as per company's requirement   Preferable:   - Bachelors / Master degree from premier Development Sector / Engineering / Management institution   - Considerable volunteering experience in the social sector   - Understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility and social impact   - Ability to independently drive discussions with the company's leadership   - Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, start-up environment   - Experience negotiating pricing and terms per company policy and procedure   - Working knowledge of WMS/ CRM   - Experience in Program design and implementation
