Manager - Retail Planning & Merchandising Key Responsibilities : 1. Managing inventory levels to optimize efficiencies to increase inventory rotations, revenue, and profitability growth. 2. On a monthly and quarterly basis, recap and report back on the sales results to plan and forecast of in-season sales and inventory. 3. Work with the merchant team to actively manage inventory levels. This includes planning backup orders on key core items and major initiatives, recommending orders, increasing/decreasing inventory, and/or cancelling orders. 4. Perform bottoms up planning in terms of key item flow, sku sales plans, average stock, and replenishment requirements. 5. Create real time and long-term structures for inter branch transfers, budgeting sheets, store wise analysis sheets, and most importantly inventory management. 6. Classify inventory as per time and rotation and have action plans to dilute slow moving stock. 7. Create several KPIs derived from dynamic data analysis, to develop best-in-class new store opening inventory assortments and meeting the financial targets Preferred Qualifications : 1. 3-5 years of fashion retail experience, preferably worked with women's fashion 2. Apparel Retail Experience is a must 3. Advanced MS Office Skills; especially MS Excel 4. Very Strong analytical and arithmetical skills 5. Flexible and strategic thinker in terms of managing inventory 6. Positive Attitude 7. Team Player, can work across teams
