Salesforce Consultant - IT (9-15 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on and passionate Salesforce Consultant.

- Reporting to the Sr Business Process Manager - Commercial/Onboarding, this person will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing and expanding Salesforce.com for the global RFID commercial sales team and other business functions. In this role you will work closely with commercial leaders to build the roadmap for Salesforce.com to support the business unit strategy and objectives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

- Serve as our internal expert in Salesforce.com platform and ecosystem

- Manage external Support and Developers

- Responsible for the integrity and maintenance of SFDC - Keep us clean & simple

- Translate business requirements into technical requirements or stories for development

- Act as Business Analyst (BA) for internal teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements & user stories

- Manage backlog, enhancements, and defects pulling in resources where needed to drive to resolution

- Propose new ways of working to maximize efficiency within our internal team and with external partners

- Lead future configuration, integration and implementation including architecture, design, system testing, and user acceptance testing

- Document technical requirements, architecture, and design of deployment and integration of the Salesforce.com solution

- Identify & support the implementation of new Salesforce features & functions in response to business needs, while managing a timely release schedule for system enhancements

- Respond to issues & requests from users throughout the global organization, including technical & functional issue resolution, data load management, data quality and training on new features & functionality

- Ensure proper documentation on Business Requirements, Training Materials, Functional

- Design, Process & Data Flows, Use Cases & Test Plans/Scripts- Communicate project status to executive stakeholders via status reports & project meetings

- Partner with internal IT teams to ensure adherence to IT policies

- Own the daily functional relationship with vendors, consultants and Salesforce support

- Analyze the existing implementation of Salesforce and make recommendations for improvement or best practices

- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

- Stay current with periodic Salesforce releases and advise management on applicable updates & feature enhancements

- Participate actively in change management efforts to implement better practices, new processes & improvements in overall performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Salesforce Administrator Certification REQUIRED (Will be Verified)

- Salesforce Advanced Administrator &/or Platform App Builder Certification

- Service Cloud experience a plus

- Minimum of 9 years of Salesforce experience with Enterprise or Unlimited Edition, including customizing objects, workflow and validation rules

- Prior experience executing a global Salesforce implementation for highly-matrixed organization

- Must have knowledge of Salesforce security (roles, profiles, role hierarchy and sharing rules) & a strong understanding of relational data

- Experience with data clean up procedures, including utilization of Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader

- Ability to translate business objectives regarding sales strategy & methodology into technical requirements

- Global project management experience, with an emphasis on sales automation and/or analytics & reporting

- Data Modeling experience, with a solid understanding of translating business requirements into data architecture needs

- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, delivering high quality work while under significant deadline pressure

- Excellent overall business acumen & organizational savvy, including expert level presentation & meeting facilitation skills

- Strong record of achievement, with solid analytical skills & an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work. Previous sales operations experience highly preferred
