Looking to hire a candidate with prior experience in Transaction Structuring or Commodity Structuring for a Boutique Climate Change Project Developer. The firm generates Carbon Credit from its various Community Based Climate Change / Sustainability projects that it runs in South & South East Asia. These projects include Sustainable Agriculture/Agro Forestry /Clean Cooking Initiatives/ Afforestation etc. The firm is looking for someone who is very good with numbers, proficient in structuring complex transactions - not necessarily in the carbon market but preferably in commodities. You will be working closely with the Head of Origination, on day to activities such as : - Prepare reports and proposal on current projects and upcoming ones. - Structure carbon credit transactions as per negotiations with buyers. - Monitor the Carbon Market and Pricing to manage hedges and risk. The clients of the firms are Global MNCs and Govt Bodies / Agencies looking to offset their Carbon Impact/ Footprint.
