Job Description:


- The role involves planning, managing and directing daily board operations to increase revenue and reduce costs through monthly P&L analysis.


- It means working closely with key modern trade accounts like DMart, Reliance Retail & other chain stores to drive business outcomes.

- Our client is a Personal Care company and is India's largest manufacturer in their segment. Equipped with a 50000 sq ft. manufacturing facility, they are one of most dynamic companies looking to become market leaders within their business segment.


- They have an increasing India footprint and in line with their growth aspirations, they are looking at hiring a Modern Trade Sales Lead to fuel and sustain that growth for the business across India.


Description:

- Planning, managing and directing daily board operations to increase revenue and reduce costs through monthly P&L analysis

- Reconciliation of client accounts, payment follow up with clients, CNF commission and claim analysis report, etc.



- Inventory planning and management (CNFs in pan India)


- Inventory requirement assessment on the basis of sales forecast for quarter and half year, sharing the same with plant for production.



- Execution of monthly promotion plan with creativity at each stores on alignment with the Marketing and Category heads.



- Assortment planning across all categories to cover all price points & shelf share.


- Ensuring timely new listings, SKU-level penetration & drive secondary sales category-wise.



- Driving the parameters with Chains to drive effective and sustainable growth (Effective use of data sharing, driving multiple visibility space, achieving the monthly target, and timely payments).



- Negotiating trade terms.



- Benchmark competition products & activities and develop an account-wise strategy to maintain market share.



- Ensuring high fill rates by initiating timely stock transfers



- Sales enthusiast and a potential leader to drive KAM / Modern Trade sales and leverage opportunities for business development.



- Work independently with a vision, tenacious on delivering results and action oriented.


- Channel Appointment for business deliveries for Direct & Indirect Modern Trade Accounts.


- Planning & Execution of Go-To Market Strategy.


- Developing and streamlining systems and processes for key business decisions and compliance


- Contributing to the development of effective marketing analysis, plans and initiative (e.g. product development, brand activity, service improvement, pricing strategy, promotion plans, competition Industry.)


Profile:

- At least 4-6 years of relevant experience along with established relations with the MT businesses. Experience of establishing the presence of the product in MT outlets coupled with experience in personal hygiene categories / FMCG is important.

- Experience in South India geographically and Tamil/Telugu/Kannada/Malayalam language competency is desirable. The role is open to being based in Chennai/Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai/Delhi NCR.
