An integrated logistics company headquartered in India. The company offers services in multiple segments of logistics Viz. Sea Freight, Airfreight, Project Cargo Transportation, Cargo Terminals and Coastal Shipping. It has 18 offices in India and overseas. The company currently has over 700 employees.
Job Duties :
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
Role & Responsibilities -
- Managing the supply chain for the product end to end basis and working in tandem with other integral dept. like Customer Service/Operation/Documentation & fine tuning strategies to ensure smooth clearance in customs.
- Managing complete Logistics activities with abilities in liaising with foreign principals, pricing team and overseas counter parts and assisting the other department in issues related to Custom's laws and procedures and the processes involved. Sales - generate new customers for all products
- Business development project and break bulk Cargo. Sales, generate new customers for all products. Retaining existing customer & business.
- Freight negotiation with shipping line and vessel operators
- Providing market intelligence to Project head
- Supporting network inquiry
- Retaining existing customer & business
- Preparing DSR
- Answering to shipment queries with adequate information.
- Regular follow up with existing customers. Payment follow up with customer
- Excellent communication skills. (Written & Oral).
