Sales Operations Consultant - MSME loans - Global Strategy Consulting Firm - Contractual Role
Our client, one of the MBB's is working for a bank based out of Tamil Nadu. They are working on a large transformation program for them and helping them optimise processes and drive profitability.
They are currently looking for a consultant with prior experience of managing MSME loan sales portfolio. The consultant will help in optimising sales processes, managing data and enhancing the overall efficiency of the team.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to streamline sales processes, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring smooth workflows and minimal bottlenecks
- Data Management: Monitor and maintain accurate sales data and records in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and providing insights to improve decision-making
- Sales Analytics: Analyse sales data and trends to generate actionable insights that can drive strategic decisions, sales strategies, and resource allocation
- Forecasting: Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts, track progress, and align resources accordingly
- Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by resolving operational challenges, managing sales collateral, and ensuring sales tools are up to date
- Reporting: Create and distribute regular reports to sales leadership, outlining key performance metrics, progress toward goals, and areas for improvement
- Sales Training: Assist in the onboarding of new sales team members by providing training on sales tools, processes, and best practices
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts, coordinating campaigns and lead generation activities
- Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process
- Sales Technology: Evaluate, implement, and manage sales technology tools and platforms that enhance the sales team's efficiency and effectiveness
- Process Documentation: Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures and guidelines for various sales processes
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in all sales operations activities
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 4-month contract. There are four project locations for this role - Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli and Salem. The selected consultant would be required to relocate to either one of these locations for the entire duration of the contract.
