We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Sales Manager. An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales to North American geography, with 2-3 years managing sales teams.
In this role, you will directly manage, coach, and develop a sales team of 5-6 account executives and 3 sales engineers. This role may include a travel component, for visiting customers onsite in the US and Canada.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Team Leadership and Performance Management: Hire, train, and coach a sales team of 5-6 AEs and 3 sales engineers. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Revenue and Pipeline Management: Manage the overall sales pipeline to accurately forecast sales performance and revenue outcomes. Conduct regular pipeline reviews, providing guidance to ensure timely closure of opportunities
- Sales Enablement and Training: Ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources for success. Organize ongoing training on product updates, selling methodologies, industry insights, and competitor positioning.
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Work with revenue leadership to design & implement sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
- Metrics and Performance Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales. Institutionalize a data-driven decision-making approach to inform strategy adjustments and coaching plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide market and customer insights to product management and marketing teams.
Requirements for the Role:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales
- Past experience in building and leading sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fluid environment.
- Open to evening work hours (US business hours)
