Sales Manager - Industrial Solutions (10-15 yrs)

Sales Manager Industrial BU is responsible for maximizing the revenue growth of Industrial BUs Direct Customers in Indian Subcontinent.

The role is responsible for revenue growth by new customer development, deep-dive existing customers for growth opportunities, driving growth programs such as design-in, drop-in, share gain & GTM execution.

The role is also responsible for marketing activities such as tradeshows / roadshows / seminars / Technology Days.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities of Sales Manager Industrial Business is framed in SET Methodology Strategy, Execution, Talent.

1) Responsible for deriving a long-term strategy for Direct Business.

- Understand and analyze the Industrial market size in India.

- Understand and define our position vs market define market share, analyze share gain and share loss areas.

- Understand the market, macro trends, market indices.

- Competition analysis and landscaping.

- Understand key market applications and analyze the product gaps. Page 2

- Define the areas to play, define GTM approach.

- Define the key value drivers to delivery consistent revenue growth and gain market share.

2) Revenue Growth:

- Sales Budgeting and Forecasting: to derive the yearly budget and quarterly / monthly forecast for booking and billings.

- Territory planning: understand the business at territory level and derive targets for the territories.

- Account Planning: Preparation of detailed account plan for key accounts.

- Customer Visits: Responsible for visiting customers on a regular basis for growth opportunities.

- Customer Relations: Responsible for building a strong partnership with customer by demonstrating ECE.

- Sales pipeline growth: responsible for consistently adding new opportunities and growing the opportunity funnel.

- Opportunity Management: Responsible for managing the opportunities at each stage from concept to production by collaborating across teams.

- Demand creation Demand creation through design-in, drop-in, GTM and other promotional activities such as trade shows / tech days / seminars.

- SFDC Management Responsible for managing key metrices in SFDC such as pipeline, conversion, must wins.

- Delivering Extraordinary Customer experience to Industrial customers.

3) Team Management:

- Responsible for hiring and development of team.

- Maximum utilization of resource via setting clear roles and responsibilities for the team needed for the smooth execution of business.

- Talent assessment and development: Identify talent strength and gaps areas and work on the development plan.

- Learning and development for the team define L&D roadmap for the team via EEE methodology.

- Coaching and Mentoring of key talents.

- Responsible for Team Building and Motivation.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

BE/B Tech Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics and Electrical. MBA preferred but not compulsory.

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

- Overall 12~15 years of Experience. Minimum 10 years into Sales.

- Minimum 3 years of PAN India experience.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing direct reports.

- Candidate should be from Industrial / Electronics / Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Industry
