Senior Manager - Business Development who will be responsible for leading a sales team of 200 including Managers, developing sales plans, and meet revenue growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop plans and strategies to achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Ensure Annual/Monthly/Weekly Sales target are met as per the organizations goal
- To be a great People manager, recruit, train and retain people to achieve optimum output from the team
- Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
- Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
- Build and promote a strong team culture within the sales representatives ultimately resulting in an engaged and high performing sales team
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
- Present sales, revenue and related reports to the management team
Ideally, the candidate must have 2-6 years of experience in B2C Sales (From FMCG/CD) and managing a large sales team. Specifically, the candidate should have:
- Bachelor of Technology / MBA or equivalent degree (IIT, NIT, BITS, IIM,ISB, FMS, IIFT, MICA, NITE, SP Jain, NMIMS etc)
- 2 - 6 years of experience in Insurance Sales, Consulting, Telecom, Hospitality, Consumer Durables, Consumer Goods, Hyper local delivery among other industries
- Experienced in managing a sales team of 10-15
