Head - Public Performance - Music License Sales

This role requires the incumbent to manage the Public Performance function which is responsible for expanding customer-licensee base for the organization thereby resulting in increased number of licensed users of literary work and revenue collection.

The function comprises of 4 Regional teams operating out of metro cities and some major towns in the country. The role includes managing these teams and guiding them in the best interest of organization.

The person is responsible for liasioning with key regulatory and government authorities for smooth operations and protection of the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Preparation of Plan & Strategy, Budgeting, Growth projections

- Drive Sales Revenue through issuance of licences & expansion of customer base

- Managing communication with large establishments and legal authorities

- Drive revenue generation while managing the operations from a legal standpoint.

- Ensure efficiency in process operations and measuring performance regularly.

- Ensure best in class Sales Force CRM is implemented for effective sales reporting & forecasting.

- Create Awareness, enable the PP team to handling objections and ensuring compliance of the Licencee.

- Accountable for ensuring the PP team helps users of literary works & music across channels understand the importance of paying Licence fee to the organization whereby they are respecting Copyright and encouraging creativity.

- Periodic meetings at a national level to share results, encourage further expansion and recognize good performance

EXPERIENCE:

- 10-15 years of relevant Sales & Team Management experience
