Sales Head - FMCG (8-12 yrs)

Help shape and implement a 3-year sales strategy that will ensure ongoing growth for the company

Work with the team and other parts of the organization to continue to identify the right sales strategies

Utilize external market data to inform strategy and initiatives

Research, analyze and provide strategic advice to clarify, plan and monitor the growth of Intuit revenues and market share.

Drive strategic projects/initiatives focused on sales strategies

Applies financial rigor and acumen to all initiatives that lead executive and inform businesses to shareholder value based decisions

Design and development of business models and sales and marketing strategies for organizational effectiveness.

Establish budgets and targets for assigned area of responsibility and manage to them.

Develop a talent management plan that supports the strategic and future needs of the business and drives for performance

Qualifications Ideal Experience/Qualifications:

10+ years experience leading high performance sales teams

A clear track record of leading dramatic growth across multiple channels for a company selling technology-related products directly to small - medium businesses

A world-class sales leader with experience in setting up new sales channels online and offline

Experience and expertise in leading organizations and driving difficult organizational change

Strong technical sales expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and sports sales principles and practices

A leader with the force of personality to succeed in a highly competitive market, keeping the team focused on breakthrough strategies and tactics while meeting ongoing business objectives

Track record of success working and influencing a fast-paced organization at all levels, being persuasive and effective even where no direct or limited reporting relationship exists

A passionate and skilled communicator who can articulate company's vision in a clear and compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm and a commitment to the vision in subordinates, peers and external partners

Exceptional overall business and general management skills and acumen, both quantitative and qualitative

The successful candidate will be smart, candid, direct and non-political, with a highly developed sense of ethics, energy, confidence, creativity and ambition

A team-oriented, assertive personal style; highly developed interpersonal skills, adept as an influencer and negotiator

Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with in depth understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology

Experience managing multiple product lines and specific experience leading in a highly fast-paced organization

Significant experience in new product launch, B2B telesales in both acquisition (hunting) and retention. Accountability for results: a clear track record of taking ownership for engaging employees, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful sales strategies and execution. Consistent over achievement of sales targets.

Analytical Thinker Personally mines complex data for insight. Can personally synthesize data to find overlooked conclusions and develop workable solutions which result in business growth. Must also be able teach the skills, and build this capability in the organization. Customer-focused - tenacious about peeling the layers to understand customer behaviour and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point they have with Intuit.

Strategic thinker - the ideal candidate will combine classic strategic sales skills with experience in multi-channel sales with strong B2B & Online and offline - track record of success working and influencing in a fast-paced, being persuasive and effective to meet goals even where no direct reporting relationship exists

Talent stewardship - able to attract, grow and retain talented employees and lead the team to become a high performing, highly engaged organization.

Leader teacher - strong sales expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and leadership principles and practices throughout the company.

Education: MBA or Masters in related field
