What are we looking for? We are looking for a seasoned Head of Sales (India and South Asia) with the right mix of leadership, passion, energy, and network in the financial services industry to lead and expand our services in India. Your primary responsibilities include growing commercial prospects, developing key partnerships, and working with product and engineering teams to ensure quick time-to-market delivery while meeting the company's vision and strategy. We are also looking for someone with a good blend of start-up and scale-up exposure. Your responsibilities include: - Lead the sales team, drive yearly sales strategy, sales targets - individual as well team targets. - Build and manage strategic partnerships, top merchant partner acquisition, special projects, and new business/product launches and expansion. - Understand customer needs, assess current challenges faced by the company in the region, and develop action plans to overcome those challenges. - Continuously strengthen the product portfolio by introducing the right product that suits the market demand. - Generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth. - Structure deals, manage and close negotiations, and build business cases for existing and potential clients. - Work with product, engineering, and operation teams to ensure timely delivery and support to our clients. - Define, establish, review, and maintain standards and guidelines for operations to suit the changing business operations, operating environments, and requirements. What do you need to have? - 5+ years of experience in Partnerships / Commercial related role - Minimum 10 years of experience in Strategic Partnerships / Business Development / Consulting roles in a fintech environment with a proven track record in financial services business in India. - International sales experience and knowledge of the API ecosystem are a plus. - Payments domain knowledge and experience is mandatory - Skilled in strategic planning, business building, partnering, and relationship building - Demonstrate strong leadership capability and cross-functional team management experience. - Operational experience is preferred. - Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills - Hands-on with Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel. - Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related areas; MBA will be a bonus Sounds great?
