Sales Head - Export - Batteries (13-22 yrs)

Any Location/Metros/Gurgaon/Gurugram Job Code: 1037393

Location- Person will be based in Gurgaon

Must have experience only in Exports.

(a) Indian Tubular Batteries (Export) Market Share

(b) Drive 8-10 export sales team (travelling) under direct reporting

(i) Growth Existing Customer (Secondary Sales / Marketing)

(ii) Open new countries

(iii) Add new customers

(c ) Should be able to lead sales operations (PPC, Logistics and Documentation)

(d) Open to Extensively Travel Internationally

Scaling Up Existing Clients

- Create Marketing and Branding strategy for each client / market to ensure 2x growth year on year.

- Product Service Support by TSE's (Travelling Service Engineers), Videos and Write Ups

- Secondary Sales

Client Acquisition

- Identifying a creating scalable distributors looking for quality, brand & service (QBS)

- Mapping what market wants v/s what we have.

- Active feedback to develop the required product portfolio.

Opening New Markets

- Indian Tubular Batteries can replace Chinese VRLA batteries for Power Back-Up and Solar usage.

- Countries where Indian Tubular Batteries were introduced 5 years back are now showing +ve tread replacing VRLA with Tubular While Indian manufacturers have focused on traditional tubular batteries requiring regular water top,

- EAPL has developed Tubular Get Batteries that do not require water top.

- EAPL has therefore been able to open markets like Canada and Netherlands where no other Indian

- Tubular Manufacturer has been able to entre.

Many other counties in North America, CIS, Europe are to be tapped

- Managing Setbacks and Unknowns / Managing External Competitive Pressure

- Should be able to lead sales operations (PPC, Logistics and Documentation)

PPC Team: Coordinating with EAPL plant to make batteries available for exports

Logistics: Make sure timely movement of batteries Ex-Factory to CIF while managing costs.

Documentation: Timely & correct documentation to ensure fast rotation of funds

- Open to Extensively Travel Internationally

- Sales feedback needs to be validated by experienced view

- We believe that accurate market facts and realities are best understood by foot on ground.

- While the candidate will not have direct sale responsibility but in order to ensure that the sales team reporting is achieving targets, the candidate will have to travel 120 days in a year.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

- Experience in managing (travelling) export sales team

- Extensively travelled internationally for International Sales

- Should be able to adapt in dynamic environment.

- Should have the ability handle stress.

- Aggressive Sales approach & target oriented

- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.

- Strong Analytical, self-driven & motivated

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
