Sales Head - eCommerce (5-10 yrs)
You will be joining the Supply team that is responsible for acquiring retail brands and ensuring their success on the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Build and grow a team that scales up the number of brands, stores and categories on the platform across all its current and future products
- Hands on business development, brand/retailer onboarding and account management
- Set up processes and think through products that use significant automation to improve the team's effectiveness and productivity to monitor, manage and grow all of brand/retailer partners
- Figure out the best way to go-to-market for all current and future products
- Work closely with multiple teams within the organization to orchestrate a smooth and effective running of the products deployed. The teams include - operations, integrations and catalog, operations, Open API growth, and, Founders
Requirements:
- Strong data ability with basic knowledge of database and advanced excel skills. Ability to learn and independently use data and analytical tools
- Strong and well networked across the retail ecosystem encompassing brands, retailers, ecommerce companies, technology and consulting service providers among others
- Having a strong analytical, data-driven, problem solving, product mindset
- Ability to work with brands, retailers on things currently outside the product portfolio to identify new opportunities and growth areas
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding and/or a strong interest in the Retail/eCommerce sector, brand awareness and retail trends
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Understanding of brand, retailer growth drivers
- Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
