Sales Head - Acquisitions/Programs/Serial Sales - Automotive - India (14-20 yrs)

Essential responsibilities and duties :

The role of the Sales Head in India to manage sales and business development strategic initiatives & operational activities of Acquisitions, Programs, Serial sales in order to guarantee and optimize financial performance and competitiveness.

Looking for a candidate from a Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing organisations (should have handled sales with Ford)

The main missions of the role are :

Sales Strategy

- Define, Develop, execute financial business planning in line with customer requirements

- Act as a business partner to guide plant & program management teams on financial decisions

- Deep involvement to understand customer business requirements in line with the financials

- Define, Drive and Implement initiatives

- Involvement in the mid-term business evolution, budget and forecast reviews

- Involvement in driving positive Squeeze Management

- Focus on implementing BG / Group guidelines, processes, system in the Sales function

Develop the appropriate intimacy with his/her Customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs) :

- Regular visits with preparation and minutes

- Build relationships with key staff in the client organization

- Monitor the level of customer satisfaction at regular intervals or after each significant step

- Prepare the commercial offers to answer on due time to the Customer requests :

- Get a good understanding of the costing files

- Propose and get validated the targeted pricing and the negotiation path / tactics to convince the customer

- Formalize the offer with the appropriate wording

- Understand and apply the guidelines proposed by the hierarchy regarding contractual management

Programs :

- Act as Program Sales Leader - Part of the Program core team

- Prepare and negotiate on a proactive manner - the commercial answers to the customer ECRs

- Understanding of the Program Business Plan and associated commercial levers

- Follow the profitability of the Program

Acquisitions :

- Part of the Acquisition Team

- Understanding of the Business Plan & RFQA

- Preparation and update of the commercial offers following hierarchy's instructions
