Director - Sales - Beer & Spirits Business - North (15-22 yrs)

The Sales Director oversees the complex function of company sales as it relates to various NORTH INDIA states, distributors, retailers, drive and own the sales funnel for IMFL sales the expanding portfolio. etc. This position manages, RSM, ASM and the Key Account Managers to ensure that territory sales are consistent with goals and projections. This position largely oversees the program and system of sales as a whole, to include managing how: This position also requires significant analytical skills for market analysis, and for developing annual/quarterly adjustments contributing to the production schedules.

Daily Duties, Functions, Responsibilities -

- Works directly with wholesalers to develop strategies and to educate them on quarterly and annual goals and projections and execution plans.

- Management of Excise and VAT Department including documentation in coordination with Distributor and all statutory requirements for the Delhi Business

- Management of key accounts & distributor/logistics partners

- Derives data and sales reports, as well as other sources of analysis to support future growth plans.

- Manage chain sales, including contract work and wholesaler communication.

- Uses research and analysis to develop quarterly and annual goals

- Uses analysis and sales trends to support budget recommendations

- Procure, analyse and submit industry data reports and market trends on a monthly basis

- Weekly & Monthly reporting formats for targets, sales and competitor analysis

- Oversees sponsorship budget

- Troubleshoots problems between wholesalers and warehouse delivery/availability

- Drafts reports and prepares for wholesalers and company leadership

- Planning, strategizing and meeting the monthly/annual sales targets for all brands

- Management of payment reconciliation & collection from distributor & zones

- Develop, train and manage a team of RSM, ASM's, Sales Executives & Promoters

- Monthly Planning & coordination with the distillery & distributor for efficient supply chain

- Planning, development & execution of Retail branding, strategy of display drives, promotions, retail activations, POS materials, etc and reporting of schemes in coordination with the marketing team with Sharp focus on ROI and own PL

Job Qualifications

- 15+ years of Sales or Business Development experience. Experience in the beer industry preferred.

- Alcohol industry experience of minimum 10 years in Private retail in IMFL & BEER

- A proven track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships

- Desire and flexibility to work in a start-up atmosphere, with a young team

- Self-starter with a drive to help build and establish new brands

- Strong relationships with distributors and key accounts in Delhi

- Sound knowledge of modern trade for the right brand-market fit

- Excellent communication skills in local languages & English, as well as the confidence and polish to represent the company in both formal and informal settings.

- Efficient planning and execution & demonstrated success in consistently meeting sales objectives.
