Sales Dealer - Treasury (3-10 yrs)

The candidate would be a part of Financial Markets Sales team and will be primarily responsible for:

- Managing and nurturing the existing portfolio of large corporate clients through pro-active and continuous engagement on their Foreign Exchange related requirements through superior ideation and advisory

- Providing relevant hedging solutions and executing fx and derivative transactions for mitigating client's fx risk and rate exposures in line with the extant regulatory guidelines

- Sourcing new clients for the Bank along with Relationship / other product teams and pro-actively engaging with them through on-boarding process

Geographical Coverage: Clients based out of Karnataka

Strategic/ Managerial Responsibilities :

- Generate revenue from sale of FX and derivative products to the bank's clients and onboarding new clients

- Execute client trades and keep track of their open positions and constantly advise the client on these positions on the basis of technical analysis, macro and micro economic and fundamental research

- Increase volume from clients by repetitive client calling and sharing trading / hedging ideas;

- Constantly engage with the Financial Markets risk advisors, relationship managers and other product partners to leverage the client relationship, deepen existing relationships and acquire new ones

- Meet with allocated clients to augment the relationship

- Strict adherence to RBI guidelines in executing and conducting Financial Markets business

- Responsible for all one time as well as transactional documentation for FX business undertaken with the bank's clients;

Core Responsibilities

- To increase cross sell of various products and increase the FX wallet share

- To maximize revenues by proposing value enhacement structures to the client in line with their portfolio and Risk Management policies

People Management or Self- Management Responsibilities

- To ensure to deal within the applicable RBI regulations and guidelines

- Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of structures with internal stakeholders and work on building mitigants to resolve the open risks

Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities

- To be appraised with the latest Regulations and Internal compliance policies and guidelines

- Strict adherence to all regulatory and internal guidelines

Relationship Coverage Teams

- To be in touch with the RM's to continuously build the brand with the client and to ensure to tap newer opportunities and seamlessly execute the hedging solutions and structures

Credit Risk

- To ensure to be in line with the Bank's policies, credit calls, and to be in close discussion with Credit before beginning a new relationship or enhancing limits or originating newer strcutures

Ideal Canididate

- 3 to 7 years of experience in the Banking domain

- CA or MBA from Tier 1 institutes

- Prior experience in Forex Sales and Derivatives Sales in a bank is a must

- FRM or CFA qualifications will be preferred but not necessary

- Proficient in English writing and communication

- Credit evaluation, Derivatives - Sales
