Job Description - This role is for a sales capability manager for a global FMCG client

Client Details

Our client is one of the global FMCG companies known for their robust and impactful marketing strategies and operational excellence. They are one of the leaders in the industry they operate in with plans towards new global launches. They are looking for a Sales Capability Manager who can contribute to the development of their sales channels and people and further the growth of their brands.

Description -

The chosen candidate would report to the Sales Head and be responsible for the following-

- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute the GTM strategy for the brands

- To plan and innovate towards new segmentation strategies and redesign sales territories

- To develop and implement coaching and training programs for the sales team in order to up-skill their functions towards growth in business and target completion

- To devise and implement best practices in sales, distribution, in-store execution and merchandising

- To work in and develop the analytics and IT systems for ease of sales execution

- To handle constant assessment in commercial functions in order to identify capability gaps and implement corrective measures in line with the business strategies

Profile

The successful applicant should be a graduate from a premier B-school (2010/2011/2012 batches), having at least 7 years of extensive experience in sales in the FMCG space and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels in India. He/she should have an analytic approach towards understanding and solving problems and have a proven experience in driving and leveraging people skills and motivations.
