Sales Analyst - Finance - FMCG (4-5 yrs)
- The candidate will be in charge of managing sales and business analytics
- Analyze data by collecting, monitoring and creating models for decision support.
- Compile and analyze Sales/ Market information for business unit to determine standard costs, perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Monitor, analyze and report on inventory valuation, logistics and production costs
- Forecasting/Budgeting - Prepare cost models to be used by FP&A team for forecast.
- Prepare financial forecasts including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Communicate the financial forecast to the respective business leads.
- Manage all aspects of competitive analysis and reporting, including developing a process and regular cadence for the dissemination of key peer company and industry-wide developments
- General & Administrative expense tracking, Advertising & Promotion expense tracking
- Discounts & Promotional spend tracking & insights
- Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
Specific skill sets:
- Must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models, prior data mining and on line market research.
- Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
- Ability to plan, implement, and administer sales information and control systems. Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated business analysis and reporting.
- Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
- Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
- BIZOM/Field Assist - Updation of users' mapping, Analysing Reports, Monitoring various Trends. Ensuring that all the bizom mapping is correct and 100% usage of bizom. Creating new user and distributors.
- SAP Customer Master - Handling the customer master which includes New Customers Creation, Customers Mapping, Credit Limits Setting, customer blocking, Any SAP related issues.
Qualification:
- Post Graduate from a B School
- Additional Certifications in Analytics are preferable i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Certification
- 4 to 5 years (FMCG preferable)
- Must have worked with similar responsibilities
