Job description:
- Working in the capacity of Accounts Controller to develop and deploy corporate fund management controls, including payment and receivables management.
- The role also entails identifying, developing, and deploying robust processes/systems in the finance function to ensure seamless information flow and improved process controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Controls:
- Align unit-level finance activities with corporate finance objectives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies in compliance with standards.
- Oversee fund management, working capital, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure timely payments, receivables, and adherence to budgets.
Process & System Improvements:
- Drive automation and system-enabled process reengineering for financial tasks.
- Ensure seamless adoption of refined financial processes.
- Manage and improve billing, debt collection, and sales ledger processes.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure statutory compliance and timely closure of accounts.
- Conduct reconciliation of books of accounts and implement audit recommendations.
- Provide monthly reports, including aged debtors, expense variance, and MIS.
Cost & Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure cost savings.
- Drive cost and budgetary controls to support financial commitments.
- Develop credit policies and manage debtors efficiently.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build a performance-driven culture and manage team performance.
- Provide growth opportunities and engage in talent development initiatives.
Qualification: CA.
