SAEL - AGM/DGM - Environment Health & Safety (Solar Division)
Purpose of the Role: Coordinate the functional department of the Solar vertical on ESMS/EHS-related issues/compliance tracking and requirements.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the EH&S plan and full fill the ESG requirements in the workplace according to legal guidelines & SAEL guidelines.
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety as per SAEL requirements.
- Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence.
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
- Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
- Investigate accidents or incidents with Coordination Business Head
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
- Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics
- Conduct Internal ESG/EHS performance audit.
- Responsible to ensure the implementation of ESG/EHS Requirements across the Solar Business Vertical.
Job Specifications:- Total Experience Required: 16+ years
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in Engineering stream or in any steam + Diploma in Environment management + Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS, ADIS) + recognized by the state technical board/CLI/RLI/ with 16+ years of experience in the EHS field.
- Working in the Renewable energy (Solar) profile will get added advantage.
- Good understanding of (Environment Social Management System )ESMS and ESG project implementation.
Skills Required:- Functional: Team Management, Leadership & Analytical.
- Behavioral: Communication & Convincing skills.
- Job-Related: Well-versed in IMS systems, Environment social governance Management systems having competency in EHS management systems, Incident investigation, HIRA & AIA, CAPA, Contractor Management systems, EPRP, and site EHS plan development, Imparting Training on different EHS & ESMS topics.
Essential areas/ factors/ conditions in which the incumbent should have experience:- Site Management in the renewable energy sector ((Boi Mass) Proven experience.
- Engineering Background and experience in projects/Operations will get preference.
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in the English language for better communication.
