Saasvaap - Financial Controller

About the Role:

- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our accounting operations and financial reporting.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, enforcing internal controls, and providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making.

- This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Bank Reconciliations.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and monitor internal controls, budgeting processes, and forecasting.

- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.

- Lead the preparation of financial reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.

- Oversee cash flow management, cost analysis, and risk assessments.

- Support tax planning and filing in coordination with external consultants.

- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.

- Provide financial guidance to executive leadership and support business strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification required.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.

- In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax laws, and financial regulations.

- Proficiency with ERP/accounting software (e. , SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).

- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling tools.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly
