S-Ancial - Lead Analyst - Investor Relations (3-10 yrs)

Responsibilities:

This role would include consulting companies on sharpening their Market Communication and Investor Relations program.

This is a client-facing role, and the success in this role is dependent on:

- How much you understand the capital markets

- How you can provide holistic thinking backed with solid execution to the investment ecosystem

- How good you are in understanding the investment thesis

- How effectively you communicate to Buy-side and Sell-side

- How much value you can add to the C-suite executives of a company

- Poise and maturity to handle C-suite relationships and develop an ability to add value to them

In short, if you can aim big and deliver better, you will do phenomenally well.

The Key Deliverables:

- Develop a differentiated and robust investor relations strategy based on a solid framework

- Managing the Quarterly Investor calls comprising of Internal information collation and synthesis on every aspect of the company, preparation of data book to assist top management provide consistent information to the investors & analysts, continuously building Investor FAQs repository based on Analyst meets so as to assist in providing a consistent stance/ reply from the company

- Participate in the preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual financial reporting, press releases and earnings calls, as well as communication of other substantive company developments

- Research and prepare reports on client's shareholder base, analyst consensus estimates, IR quarterly activity, roadshow/conference meeting schedules, corporate presentation slides, etc.

- Analysis and reporting which includes Internal data analysis such as Shareholding analysis, Share price analysis with peers and other relevant companies, Financial statement analysis

- Monitor financial news and prepare daily or weekly morning briefings for internal and external use

- Relationship Building, which includes managing and maintaining relationships with current or potential investors & analysts, maintaining constant communication between the company and investors & analysts, and building credibility with Investors.

- Managing company participation in investor-facing events including investor conferences, non- deal road shows, in-house investor meetings, annual meetings and holding Conference calls & webcasts with analysts, fund houses and investors.

- Developing and managing an effective investor targeting program, to optimize company resource deployment with the investment community.

- Handling investor communication comprising of Crafting and delivering key message with supporting information, Helping in presenting information on the company and its financials, helping on questions and inquiry response from buy and sell side analysts, establishing a consistent communications procedure and Creation of investor marketing collateral like presentation decks, press releases, and annual report.

- Handling the Market Intelligence. This would mean Ad-hoc financial analysis, competitive analysis, and market study analysis, Customer and competitor information gathering & dissection, Research reports/ Press briefings/ Press releases, Analyst model simulation, providing investor / analyst perception view to management by summarizing and distributing sell-side reports and other market news.

- Help in managing the on-boarding of all domestic and foreign investors as well as continued investor relations.

- Identifying key potential investors

- Actively maintain the corporate investor database including properly updating the database for investor transfers and assignments, timely update of key investor changes and generating investor database reporting.

- Promote consistency in content and timing of reporting among all clients.

- Work cross-functionally with internal teams in tracking and reporting company and portfolio company results.

- Understand and be fully responsible for investor, corporate document retention.

- Working with Account Manager across pool of companies

Preferred Experience & Skill Sets:

- MBA/PGDM with specialisation in Finance

- 3 years of experience in Investor Relations/Capital Markets or Buy-Side/Sell-Side Research

- Technology savvy candidates along with Knowledge and understanding of the capital markets

- Thorough understanding of key metrics for companies

- Understanding of Financial Models

- Experience of using Business Software such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Factset etc

- Keen interest in business and investment fundamentals

- Excellent presentation and communication skills

- Skilled in using Powerpoint Presentations, Skilled in using Excel

- Skilled in doing data analysis and writing crisp research.

- Existing Relations with Investors or Funds or Brokerage Analysts
