Complex Delivery Program Manager

- RSM Delivery Center (RDC) Complex Delivery practice is establishing a small team of people to focus on program management of carve-outs, integrations, optimizations and other merger & acquisition (M&A) activities in the private equity (PE) industry.

- This team will be responsible managing the execution of large enterprise projects across multiple business and technical domain areas consisting of up to 20 workstreams.

- Members of this team are expected to have business and program management acumen in conjunction with a general IT technical background.

Responsibilities :

- Effectively lead multiple cross-functional workstreams within one or more programs

- Facilitate workshops to gather and document business and technical requirements, create project plans, and help to identify challenges and risks

- Serve as a liaison between client stakeholders and RSM

- Prioritize project tasks based on client needs and requirements

- Engage in PM training, collateral and standards development, and thought leadership activities

- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, while managing their expectations

- Interact and communicate effectively with clients, engagement and workstream leads, and stakeholders

- Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery by helping to manage program economics, schedule, and performance based on program KPIs

- Stay up-to-date on general technologies, solutions, and architectures within information technology functions

- Provide thought leadership through writing and presentation

- Interact and communicate effectively

- Provide analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities

- Effectively document and communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

Basic Qualifications :

- Enthusiastic about travel domestically Monday through Friday

- Ability and willingness to travel internationally

- Experience managing projects or programs of a technical nature

- Experience working with technically diverse teams

- History of managing projects/engagement on-time and under budget

- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects

- Critical thinking and the ability to apply theoretical concepts

Project management experience in one or more of the following :

- Traditional infrastructure such as server, storage, network, voice, and desktop

- Technology applications and services including identity and access management, containerization, integration platforms, monitoring solutions, and cloud services

- Traditional and services based architectures

- Supporting line of business applications such as ERP, HRIS, and MES

- Traditional and modern security solutions such as edge and endpoint security, CASB, and DLP

- Understanding of IT operations and organizational structures

- Ability to think outside-the-box
