Role - Head of Investment Research & Advisory vertical Location - Noida Role We are looking for strategic thinkers with strong leadership abilities and sharp business acumen, who are passionate about making a change through their contributions. The role holder will lead the Investment Research team which comprises of the Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Equity Research and Thematic Research teams at RocSearch. Role and Responsibilities - Manage and deliver high quality research services to global clients. This includes understanding project specifications, overseeing deliverable preparation and extensive client engagement - Develop and maintain relationship with global clients and leverage the relationship to win more business. Technical expertise would be preferred in the following areas: Opportunity identification, Target and Buyer ID, Commercial Due Diligence, Financial & Operating Models, Company Valuation, Portfolio Value Creation, Thematic Research, Equity Research, Fixed Income, Credit & Currency Research - Contribute to firm-level responsibilities such as knowledge management, training, recruitment and selection, internal process development, expanding business capabilities and leading other organisation improvement initiatives - Professional development, coaching and evaluation of the Investment Research team members - Demonstrate thought leadership and represent the firm in appropriate industry forums Candidate profile - MBA from leading Indian B-Schools (preferably IIMs or other tier 1 institutes) - 12+ years of experience in M&A Research Consulting with at least 4 years in managing teams, leading projects and handling clients for Equity Research/ Private Equity/ Thematic Research / Corporate Finance. - Strong quantitative aptitude and ability to draw inferences from a set of numbers/financials - Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously - Strong business acumen - should be able to correlate market drivers, challenges with impact on client or target companies, should be able to evaluate business risks, etc. - Strong attention to detail; ability to identify improvement opportunities and ensure successful implementation of suggestions - Strong people management skills - Impeccable verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in MS-Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint About RocSearch RocSearch was founded in 1999 and is a world leader in delivering actionable business intelligence solutions that fuel strategic growth.
