Role

To partner with the Co-Chief Investment Officer of a leading European private banking and wealth management firm with over 180 years of successful existence, for providing investment advisory support

Candidate profile

- Post Graduate in Finance with at least CFA- Level 2 certification from CFA Institute, USA

- 3-5 years of experience in providing investment research support covering Multi-Asset Classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Currency Markets, Real Estate Market, Commodities, Hedge funds, and Private Equities

- Sound understanding of global macro landscape

- Strong exposure in end to end writing of investment research reports and thematic papers

- Hands-on with high proficiency in financial databases such as Bloomberg, Factset. Thomson Reuters and Datastream

- Superior client relationship management skills with prior experience in handling senior stakeholders at American and European Investment banks, Asset Management Firms, or PE Firms

- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially MS-Word

Responsibilities

- Engage with Senior Investment Directors to gather research requirements, scope out projects, and build research strategy

- Prepare detailed thematic papers, position papers, and investment research reports for internal consumption and external circulation

- Write a logical and conclusive market commentary on the performance of various asset classes and funds such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Alternative Investments

- Prepare comprehensive fact packs for equity and fixed income funds that provide international investors an insight into the fund strategy, performance, and portfolio positioning

- Write macro-economic national/international/global reports on a periodic basis that cover major investment themes and a futuristic outlook

- Take complete ownership of account management that includes project prioritization, time estimation, utilization management, management reporting, etc.

- Lead training and knowledge sharing initiatives at a corporate level in the areas of macro-economic and investment research
